Congratulations to Emily who won the Memorial shield this year.  We have awarded this shield now for the last four years and Emily is the first girl to achieve this award.  Keep up the good work!

The children’s test as always was very well disciplined and a lot of effort was put in by all of you whether you tested for belts or stripes.  Be proud of your achievements and keep up the good work, a very well done to you all.  Those who missed testing because of other commitments or holidays will be tested sometime in the New Year, date to be confirmed.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big THANK YOU to all the instructors who give up their free time to assist in class, at the Christmas Party (Mrs Clark for her unstinting work in the kitchen and staff for party games) and Belt Test/Prize Giving evenings.  The success of the club is largely contributed to the fact I have a dedicated team who give of their time freely and I am grateful to you for all your hard work.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Mr. Andy Booth who each year since its inception has sponsored the Ed Parker Memorial Shield.
